Ginger is a performer and teacher with over 15 years of experience. She is a member of the Oakland East Bay Symphony, Sacramento Philharmonic, and Carmel Bach Festival orchestras. She has also held positions with the Monterey Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, and Santa Cruz Symphony orchestras. 

Ginger's Carmel Bach Festival performance of Mozart's "Clarinet Concerto" earned her the following review:

"I have never in my life heard a clarinet played so beautifully, with such elegant shaping of phrases and such refined musical control of dynamics. It was a performance to bring tears to your eyes and a lump to your throat! Wow!"

In 2004 Ginger joined a select few when she was added to the Vandoren International Artists list. Vandoren is the leading maker of clarinet reeds and accessories. She plays M13-lyre mouthpieces with Traditional reeds. Read more about Vandoren reed and mouthpiece selection at WhyVandoren.com.

Ginger is a faculty member at Santa Clara University.  An education advocate, she has been teaching in San Francisco Bay Area public schools as a clarinet and woodwind coach for the past ten years. Ginger also maintains a pre-college teaching studio in Sunnyvale.

She is an active chamber musician and has performed with numerous San Francisco-based groups, including the Bridge Players, the ADORNO ensemble and the Worn Ensemble.

A graduate of Northwestern University, Bachelor of Music, Ginger completed a Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she was awarded a Departmental Honor. 

Her teachers include the late David Breeden (San Francisco Symphony), Daniel Gilbert (Cleveland Orchestra), Russell Dagon (Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra), Richard Page (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra) and Clark Brody (Chicago Symphony Orchestra).

She is a member of the International Clarinet Society, League of American Orchestras, Chamber Music America, Music Teachers' Association of California and the American Federation of Musicians
