Studio Policy Highlights
for Students
The following is a brief summary of your responsibilities. Click here to view the entire studio policy.

Students are required to practice a minimum of 5 days per week and 45 – 60 minutes per day, depending on your level.

Record practice time every day in your Practice Planner by Molto Music.

Arrive 5 minutes before your lesson starts, unpack and warm-up. At home, check that you have packed all necessary music & supplies.

Beyond the Clarinet Studio
and School Band
Students and Parents have many opportunities to participate and enjoy music in addition to clarinet lessons and the school band.

Youth Orchestras: Talented music students participate in local youth orchestra organizations. These ensembles provide challenges and growth for advanced players.

Honor Bands and Solo Competitions. All-State Honor Bands perform annually; solo competitions occur throughout the school year. Ask your teacher about these unique opportunities.

Live Clarinet & Classical Concerts: The Bay Area is a mecca for classical music. Attending live classical concerts is important for musical growth. Click on the link for recommendations and other listings.
